  I always want more

  I’m sure a lot of people have felt this who’ve had anything to do with style or fashion (in their own life, in someone else’s life, in work etc…) - that it’s this journey upon which you keep saying “I want more”. Not necessarily I want more for the sake of it, but more as in you keep doing something and then you go “hmm, I could refine it a bit, tweak it a bit, make it better - I want more!” Not to mention also doing something and then thinking “I’ve done that, so now - I want more!”.

  And it’s the same with this - I take photographs, I like them, then I look back at them and think “I can see why I liked it and that’s all cool, but next time couldn’t it be different somehow? maybe better?” And so I go out looking for that thing which has to be different and better… somehow. Which is really just my way of saying “I want more!” in every sense of saying that. Bigger, better, brighter, bolder… always.

  Also, just picked up this photograph from the Lexus (US) facebook page of the Lexus X Ellen Von Unwerth + street style photography exhibition in San Francisco… the introduction card to the “Style Spy” section of the exhibition, which includes “James Bent of La Mode Outré (Japan)”. Very nice!
