This is Nicole Then of nicolethen (formerly Cherry Magazine), a fashion blog, online boutique and street / fashion photography site that’s been up and running since March 2007. It was one of the first blogs that I heard about when I got here and so I’ve “known” Nicole for maybe five months or so, if going to someone’s blog, seeing photos of them and seeing their name constitutes knowing a person. I must admit that I had this idea that Nicole would be this real hard-case fashion girl, like quite tough or something. I’m not exactly sure why, except that it seems that if you are someone that has anything to do with fashion, and if it seems like you’ve got somewhere, then I feel there’s this sense that you must be a hard case. However, quite, quite the opposite, Nicole was just charming, really quite lovely. I’m glad to have finally “met” her for real.
